Position: Cost Accountant I
Overview of the Department
Budgets & Analysis (B&A) is responsible for supporting financial operations and designated corporate projects. The primary function of the area is the creation of the corporate budget and analysis of operating expenses. The business objectives of this area are to manage and control operating expenses for the company consistent with HCSC corporate strategy of reducing administrative costs.
Cost Accounting and Government Reporting (CAGR) is responsible for gathering and reviewing cost data needed for proper allocation to corporate product lines and inter-company agreements; and preparing internal and external administrative cost reports.
What Are Your Responsibilities?
Primary responsibilities of the New Hire Grad will be related to Cost Center maintenance and Cost Center Surveys.
Budgets & Analysis (B&A) is responsible for adding and inactivating cost centers in Oracle ERP & PBCS. Cost center maintenance is an essential function/task of B&A which the enterprise utilizes for reporting and operational purposes.
Cost Center related tasks
Cost Accounting & Government Reporting (CAGR) is responsible for collectively gathering cost center survey data to properly allocate costs amongst our lines of business. The cost center survey process is a key component in providing insightful information to leadership.

What Are the Requirements You Must Meet?
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting or Mathematics
Graduation date between December 2019 – June 2020
A minimum GPA of 3.0/4.0
Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States

Hands on Oracle module training preferred
Self-motivated or self-driven or a self-starter
Clear, concise oral and written communication with good grammar and appropriate word choice, adapted to the audience
Cost Accounting & Government Reporting
Driven Graduate reviewing Cost Center functions to determine proper expense allocation to leadership
Customer focused in the delivery and accuracy of insightful cost data
Effective communication skills within a team setting
